Description

Only a short distance from the Wiedersberger Horn, at the entrance to the Alpachtal, the small community of Reith can be found at approx. 640 m altitude. Where silver and copper were originally mined, today one can find a winter sports resort, which is especially suitable for families with children who are experiencing their first attempts on skies. Departing from the village, an 8-person gondola takes you up Reither Kogel within only 5 min. For those who are more experienced with skis and snowboards, the largest ski area in the Alpachtal with the Wiedersberger Horn, awaits you and also offers numerous practice slopes. The popular family resort primarily offers relaxation, either whilst walking around the winter landscape at Reither See, in the swimming pool, or during an evening meal in one of the cosy restaurants. For the little ones Reith has many facilities to offer, starting with a ski Kindergarten and reaching to a Kids Centre.
