Description

At an altitude of 2,300 m above sea level, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe. The village itself is practically located "on the piste", allowing you to simply ride through the centre of the resort. Due to its great snow record, skiing up until May is rarely a problem. The greatest meeting point for well-deserved après-ski is the large sun terrace in front of the legendary bar "Le Monde". Val Thorens has much to offer its international clientele, a multitude of great restaurants, bars and cafés, as well as numerous shops, boutiques and shopping arcades are just waiting to be explored. The resort's sport centre offers you the chance to engage in further sporting activities - including tennis or squash - or relaxing in the pool, sauna or jacuzzi. Also the bowling centre offers every sports fan interesting possibilities to let off steam. Or how about trying out a tour on the snow scooter?
