Description
The resorts of Achenkirch, Maurach, Pertisau, steinberg and Wiesing make up the area known as Achensee. Centred around the lake, these five resorts cater well for a mixture of downhill and cross country skiers. Although not widely known as a ski resort to UK customers, it is located near to Niederau and Alpbach. A traditional, unspoilt resort in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake.
