Description

Alpbach is a small traditional Austrian village that has committed skiers returning year on year allured by its charm and scenery. Its an exceptionally pretty, captivating place where traditional chalets scatter throughout the village giving centre stage to its pretty church in the resort centre. The nursery slopes are located near to the village centre with the main skiing access beginning in Achenwirt - 1 mile away from the village with a free shuttle bus to the slopes.

A fantastic choice for beginners with the nursery slopes in the resort centre. The intermediate terrain is good, with excellent piste grooming on offer! Expert skiers may find the terrain limited, with three black runs and a small selection of off-piste runs to the valley.
Snowboarders have a half-pipe at the top of the gondola in the Terrain Park. Good free riding terrain is also available.

Cross country skiers are well catered for here with 22km of pretty cross country trails beyond Inneralpbach.
